Our organization was founded to promote the Kingdom of God. A special emphasis of EBN’s work lies on fulfilling the Biblical ‘Great Commission’. Shortly before ascending into Heaven, Jesus gave his disciples a command:
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
(Matthew 28:19–20)
The early Christians understood that the Great Commission was given to all people who follow Christ. Everyone who believes and is baptized is to tell and teach others about Jesus. As the apostle Paul states, God desires “all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth”. (1 Timothy 2:4)
